“Aria”

Aria is dominated by whites, reds and delicate greens. This work from the Summer of 2023, began with drawings and watercolors made in an olive grove in Tuscany. Aria is both a song - as in opera and the name of a wolf dog that lived on the property that inspired this painting The painting is an abstraction suggesting a landscape of branches, trees and sky .
